But Natalie Portman cleverly disguised any hint of her baby as she took to the stage at the People's Choice Awards last night.
The Black Swan star used the ruffles of a Jason Wu dress to camouflage her stomach, as she and No Strings Attached co-star Ashton Kutcher walked onstage to present an award.
Mother-to-be: Natalie held her bum in her armsThe Israeli-American star, 29, is expecting her first child with fiancé, ballet choreographer Benjamin Millepied, in the spring.
In a statement the actress said: 'I have always kept my private life private but I will say that I am indescribably happy and feel very grateful to have this experience.'
She wasn't the only expectant mother at last night's event.

Autumn announced her pregnancy on Jimmy Kimmel's chatshow at the start of December, telling him: 'I wanted to wear it [the dress] but I was a little nervous about wearing it tonight because it's a little tight and I'm carrying a little extra weight...
'I drank a lot of beer before I came here... No, I'm pregnant actually.'
