byteSizeOfElement is wrong. Your code will only work (if all other bugs are fixed) with 64 bit code, not with 32 bit code.
Using the result of memcpy is being too smart for your own good.

Think what you want people. But if Sony wins; it truly means you don't own any of the consoles you buy.
I hope he loses. Damnit, his hacking of the PS3 has lead to making MW2 effing unbearable online now due to all the hackers exploiting his hardware hack

Single player. Gameplay aside, I'm a huge fan of a good story. Games, books, films. Multiplayer stories just seem non-existent.
How about games based on reality tv? :D
(i hope this never happens)

Hi,
in my app, I am trying to move a subview which I popup. This is am doing using UIPanGestureRecognizer and gesture recognizing functions provided by apple here (http://developer.apple.com/library/ios/#samplecode/Touches/Introduction/Intro.html)
So the problem I get is that when I click on the button image and try to move the view, it does not move the view. The functionality works only when I click the button, and then click it and move it. only then does it move the view.
I would like to know what I am doing wrong.
Here is the button code to which I add this functionality

Budget - I would like to keep it under $800
Lighting conditions - should be very good as I will normally be shooting in daylight and clear weather.
Mics - I don't have any but will get whatever is required. I was going to add most of the audio after the fact for clarity's sake.
Edit - Not sure. Whatever is most friendly and easy to work with.
Output - This will be video content for my website.
Basically...I am a contractor that wants to post of some video of completed jobs with some audio about what we do and why.Ive actually had decent results with the GoPro as far as a cheap camera goes. With your above requests that camera would suffice. However I wouldnt use it for ENG, Docs (well maybe as B-roll) or anything thatll need low-light.
Now of your budget is over 1k then we can talk better cameras ;)
Currently testing a Sony PMW-F3. Its the new Sony HD camera that can handle all kinds of lenses (PL yada yada).
We generally use the high-end stuff here at work e.g. RED MX but at times we have to purchase and assess lower end cameras for other depts.

apple 5770 / 5870 supports xfire afaik.
I would very much like to implement this if they do. Do you have any info on this please? I couldn't find anything that suggested that anyone has it working with the Apple cards.

You know the screen is 27" diagonal, and you know the width, so the height of the screen is the third side of the triangle.

For sale: Ipod nano, 2nd gen, 4 gig. capacity, works great, like new: no scratches that I know of, screen is nice, has been kept in case or sleeve (from my 1st gen nano) all its life. It's the Product Red color. Comes with 'iwave' black metal case. Despite what the pictures may show, the screen is bright and clear; the red aluminum is uniform in color and rather immaculate.
Includes retail packaging (no headphones unless you're really interested in sharing used ones...), USB cable, documentation, stickers, dock adapter, a number of UPC-ed bags from when I opened it. Package is missing UPC code from last year's back to school promotion for college students. I'm trying to sell my way into an ipod Touch. Also would entertain (crazed?) offers of trade + $ for touch.
I can take pictures if you'd like.
Caveat: It's got the engraving, w/ my name and email address. Plus I guess you can stay in contact with me at all times? The black case covers it.
Please reply with reasonable offers or advice; thanks in advance.

Are you saying MacRumors is a small community ;)
maybe I could rephrase that... spymac has a lot of members that post a LOT of one-word posts. it's annoying. at least on macrumors users generally have something worth saying and don't post for the sheer point of making a post.

If you don't have your blobs, then this isn't happening.
Yeah you can if you have a backup that isn't the current update. Also you can manually install any version of the firmware that is compatible with the phone.

The next Mac Mini should be fine for that. If as hoped it gets a Sandy Bridge processor it'll make the MacBook Air look terribly slow in comparison for CPU intensive tasks, especially if you put a SSD in the Mini.
As for EyeTV, the current Mini isn't as powerful as many of us would like, but I find it to be adequate. Hopefully the refresh will correct this and allow smooth playing of live sport in HDTV using progressive scan.
I have EyeTV and two 2009 Minis and see no problems other than the motion problem inherent in 1080i video. Changing computers won't fix that problem.
