But Katy Perry is showing an edgier side of her image in a newly released TV commercial for Adidas that hit the internet yesterday.
The 25-year-old Fireworks singer makes a cameo in the two minute clip, which will air on TV in the U.S. in the coming months.
During the advert, Katy is seen wearing a retro bright red Adidas jacket as she walks into a dance studio.
She then rehearses alongside several back up dancers all wearing skin tight shorts and tank tops in front of a mirror before being spun around in the arms of an unknown mad with a shaved head.
The rest of the wordless video features a montage of footage clips of various athletes from several different sports inter mixed with footage of B.O.B as he walks on stage wearing a vintage Adidas baseball jacket.
Working out: In the clip the singer is seen mid dance rehearsal in a studio Soccer star David Beckham, a long time endorser of the brand, then makes a brief cameo in which he is seen tying his shoe laces and running up a flight of stadium stairs.
Other famous faces who make appearances in the video include Argentinian footballer Lionel Messi and Chicago Bulls basketball player Derick Rose.
At the end of the clip, which has the song Civilisation by French band Justice as the soundtrack, the strap line 'Adidas is all in' flashes up on the screen.
