Forget something: Lady Gaga went without a dress as she arrived at her recording studio in Los Angeles todayIt looked like the beginnings of a fashionable outfit.
Lady Gaga had picked out a black lace bra and lace-up style tights for her trip to the recording studio.
But she had forgotten one thing - the dress to go over the top. The pop star instead stepped out in just her underwear in New York today.
Of course for Gaga this is relatively normal.
She arrived at the Grammy awards last weekend in an egg, claiming she had been 'incubating' inside ahead of her performance.
The singer rang Ryan Seacrest's radio show to tell him she had been inside for hours in preparation.
'I was in there for about 72 hours,' she said. 'And it was a very creative experience, and it was time for me to prepare and really think about the meaning of [Born This Way] and get prepared for the performance.
'I really wanted to be born on stage.'
Born This Way: Gaga shows her unique sense of style in ripped tights and braGaga, 24, had the words Born This Way emblazoned on the back of her jacket - a reference to her hit song, which today became the 1,000th single to top the U.S. Billboard charts.
'It is a tremendous honour,' she told Billboard. 'To be the thousandth number one on Billboard… I would be silly not to say this is the greatest honour of my career.'
Born This Way also set a new record for the highest first-week digital sales for a female artist with a total of 448,000 downloads.
The track is Gaga's first single off her new album, which is to be released in May.
