Gym chic: Kim Kardashian looks sleek in an all-black outfit as she hits the gym in Los AngelesShe's been hitting the gym hard in a bid to shape up before Christmas.
But, instead of opting for casual outfits to work out in, Kim Kardashian has been using her exercise sessions as an opportunity to show off her figure in a series of chic outfits.
And Katie Holmes should perhaps have taken note from Kim as she went to the gym in Beverly Hills looking bedraggled and scruffy.
Teaching her a lesson: Kim looked chic at the gym while Katie Holmes looked bedraggled for her gym session in Beverly HillsWhile Kim opted for a super-tight all black outfit for her gym session, Katie went for a pair of baggy grey tracksuit bottoms, striped T-shirt and grey jacket, with her hair tied up in a messy ponytail.
In contrast, despite going make-up free, Kim looked trendy as she matched her trainers to her leggings, top and sports bra, accessorising her outfit with a pair of ever-present sunglasses.
She also clutched a bottle of Fiji water, artesian water favoured by celebrities from US President Barack Obama to Twilight heartthrob Robert Pattinson.

While Katie will be spending the festive period with husband Tom Cruise and four-year-old daughter Suri, Kim will be with her sisters Khloe and Kourtney and the rest of her family in LA, after jetting to New York with Kourtney to start a new clothing store DASH and film reality show Kourtney and Kim Take New York.
Writing on her blog yesterday, Kim excitedly told fans she couldn't wait until Christmas.
