Green queens: Angelina Jolie in Atelier Versace, Catherine Zeta-Jones in Monique L'Huillier and Elizabeth Moss in Donna KarenThe red carpet was awash in a sea of green at the Golden Globe awards last night as Hollywood's leading ladies sparkled in emerald.
Angelina Jolie, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Elizabeth Moss and Mila Kunis all opted for variations of the same shade.
It was an unusual move for Angelina, who tends to play it safe in neutral shades but the choice certainly paid off as she was one of the best dressed of the night in Atelier Versace.
Stunning: Mila Kunis turns heads in a chiffon asymmetric gown by Vera WangCatherine wore a regal strapless gown by Monique Lhuillier while Mad Men's Elizabeth Moss played it down in Donna Karen.
Mila Kunis, who stars alongside Natalie Portman in Black Swan, came up trumps in a stunning Vera Wang dress teamed with simple jewellery.
Luckily, there was no love lost as despite wearing the same colour, Angelina and Catherine were more than happy to pose next to each other.
With the Oscars coming up, it will be interesting to discover if green really is the new black, taking over from the now ubiquitous nude.
