The photos will be different, but the shutter sound, sounds the same. It seems like it takes the same amount of time to take each photo.

when I try to do a system update, it downloads the update but during installation it'll stop and say "error occurred during installation please try again" the other update software that I got directly off the apple support site would say the same thing, I'm trying to update from 10.6.6 to 10.6.7 it just seems like I cannot install anything onto my mac right now.

Don't underestimate the power of javascript.
I can second that... Most people underestimnate the potential of JavaScript. The software company I have a contract with at the moment writes their whole player software in JavaScript. It is jaw dropping what the guys do with "just" JavaScript!

I can see how it might be useful, but at the same time, it clutters everything up (especially mission control) and makes it difficult to find the document I'm working on.

Would an InvisibleShield be better than a case for the 4th Gen iPod touch? I only want the back to not get scratched (at all) and the front not to crack if I drop it.

If one buys a $999 laptop, why would they give away a $499 iPad with it? That's half the price of the laptop and over double what they have done in the past. I don't see it happening, I'd be happy to be proven wrong though. I'd pick up a MacBook if they were giving away a free iPad with it.

I thought it was going to download it itself. The tutorial on iClarified did not say anything about that. I've managed to jailbreak it but need to figure out the unlock process.
in order for redsn0w to install the ipad baseband onto your phone, you need to download the ipad 1 firmware 3.2.2 onto your computer.
It is illegal to put the link here to any firmware file. So, you need to google it and download it onto your computer.

So wait, not only is the timeline between iPhone 4 and 5 the largaest gap in the 5 iterations of the phone but it will only be minor internal hardware improvements?
All the while these new Android phones look slicker and slicker by the day with much larger screens (something I personally like)?
My iPhone 3G is on it's last legs, if the iPhone 5 is just a spec bumped 4 then count me out.

I might be getting a powerbook or an Ibook for xmas and I was wondering if you still have to buy the airport extreme card as I've heard that they now come built in but just wanted to make sure.
I was also wondering if the powerbook came with the built in mic? As I know the ibook does.

This is the cheapest weighted keyboard that I know of.
I bought this keyboard for the sound booths at our college and I've been really happy with it. It's obviously not a full keyboard, but it's got enough to make it really useful and it also works seamless with Macs, truly plug-and-play. Logic has no trouble recognizing it.
As for speakers, I got the Bose Companion and have been very happy with it. It's not cheap ($300) but IMO it's worth every penny.

There's no reason to run Garageband on a secondary drive, unless of course you're taking a performance hit due to a drive filling up.
But back everything up, multiple copies of .aiff's, .aac's and especially .band's.
