Emotional: Emma Watson says the end of Harry Potter makes her feel as thought she is retiringIt's the end of an era for Harry Potter stars Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint.
After nine years and eight films, the trio have finally finished shooting the final installment in the film adaptations of JK Rowling's book series.
And Emma Watson, who plays Hermione Granger in the franchise, admits despite only being 20 years old, saying goodbye to Harry Potter makes her feel like she is retiring.
Having a cosy chat: Emma was interviewed by Kate Garraway for DaybreakAppearing in a pre-recorded interview on ITV's Daybreak this morning, Emma said: 'I’m going to say something really sad. Knowing that there's still more to come from me - it feels very strange to feel like you're retiring when you're 20 years old.
'But it does feel that way. I've spent 10 years making these movies and I just hope that the second part of my life is as incredible as the first half.'
Emma was on the show to promote the upcoming release of the penultimate film in the Harry Potter franchise - Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows: Part I.

Eager: Those fans who were dedicated enough erected tents in Leicester SquareAnd while the actress sat in the comfort of a warm studio talking about the film, thousands of fans have already started gathering in London's Leicester Square ahead of the movie's premiere.
All three stars, as well as author Rowling, are expected to attend the first screening of the highly-anticipated film.
Some dedicated fans were so determined to catch a glimpse of their idols that they camped out in the rain last night in a bid to be the first in line for the red carpet event.

In the wind and the rain: Fans put plastic sheets over their tents to stop the rain getting inWhile many came equipped with tents, sleeping bags and chairs, others wholeheartedly embraced the film's subject matter by ignoring the cold weather and donning wizard and witch outfits.
But as hundreds of fans flooded Leicester Square ahead of the premiere, Rowling was treated to a special screening of the film held for her and her family in a cinema in Edinburgh, Scotland.
A spokesperson for Cineworld said: 'JK Rowling is local to Edinburgh and often visits Cineworld to catch the latest films, but this was a special pleasure.
Getting into the spirit of things: One fan donned a full witches outfit as she waited'Not only was it the first time she got to see the latest adaptation of her books, but it was the first time the new Harry Potter film had been screened outside of Warner Brothers.'
And an onlooker who spotted Ms Rowling leaving the cinema after the screening told the Scotsman the writer appeared 'excited' by the film.
The onlooker said: 'They all seemed quite excited by what they saw, which must be good news for fans.
'I guess it's only fair that they should see it first. There wouldn't be a film for the rest of us to see if she hadn't written the books.'
Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows: Part 1 will be released on November 19th.
