Because it took so long? Heaven forbid that they delay a product that is having problems, that just wouldn't make any sense. If you mean it is disgraceful that thy haven't been more open about the entire situation then I couldn't agree more.

Ok, explain to me how there is any reasonable doubt the arizona shooter is guilty, explain to me how there is any reasonable doubt the connecticut home invaders are guilty, explain to me how there is any reasonable doubt that someone who fully confesses to their crime is guilty. You're forgetting that I disagree that killing for killing is justice. The potential failures of the justice system are only one (very good) argument against it.
If your idea of a discussion is everyone agreeing with your view, then yes that's exactly what i've done. I don't care about what you think either, your opinion is in the minority anyway so i'm in good company.
My idea of discussion is rational reasoning, not bloodthirsty appeals to emotion or polls proving one is in "good company".

OK, i finally got my friday afternoon at the apple store. a little disappointed they werent in stock when i showed up at the store opening at 10 in the morning, but oh well. here are a couple pics i have with my new iPod shuffle 2nd gen this weekend.

I just want to see if anyone has a 1GB Orange or Red 2nd generation Shuffle they are willing to sell or trade. I would think that ~$30 shipped would be a good price depending on condition and what accessories are included.

That was an awesome read. I am VERY interested in the removable graphics part. I really wanted the 6970m - but the 27" is physically not possible - so I'm stuck with the 6770m.
Can any comment on the possibility of upgrading your GPU down the road if needed?

Because it's not news. Plus it's a stupid issue in the first place. Every damn carrier in the world tracks your movement FAR more than Apple has. Google's Android tracks you even more than iOS does. This has been happening for well over a decade. Nobody cares, and only a few people have their tin-foil hats on tight enough to care.
Absolutely. I had a text the other week from my carrier (O2 UK) suggesting I go to a shop 10 minutes from where I live to buy a product. They know my rough location from which cell towers my phone connects to and they're happy to use that info for advertising purposes. Carrier's link location information to your account and personal info, Apple aren't doing that.

It is clear that Apple has been at best disingenuous on the issue, and at worst downright dishonest.
Not only does the data collected fully amount to tracking, but Apple also apparently patented this in 2009 - so to claim it was a 'bug' seems questionable.
Not saying other OSs do better (I don't know), but Apple can't simply say 'others do bad stuff, so that justifies us doing it'. But the dishonesty is the bigger issue.

Why doesn't Apple bring a TV to the market? I could go for a 72 inch flat screen with the aluminum, thinness,and 1/16th inch thick bezel of the iPad2.

Those Datsun are so awesome! I love when people mod them tastefully. They look great especially with a wicked motor in it.
I went to a some what small car show today. It wasn't that great but there was free BBQ!! :p
I, of course snapped some photos. Some of them are not so great as the lightly was horrible and my ISO was set to 100 as I hate noise but I tried my best without a tripod. So please bare with me..

I love how in our industry, when we raise a price, we have to justify it to the customer start to finish, across every presence imaginable, media, events, etc... cost of materials, availability during wartime, tighter environmental standards, labor cost increase, having not made an adjustment to the price in nearly a decade despite inflation and other factors... before we'll be able to make a 5% increase to the price and not lose all our customers.
It must be nice to be a telecom company and just toss out huge arbitrary pricing changes without any justification.
Wow, what industry are YOU in? Most industries don't have to explain anything to customers/clients especially when prices have remained stable for as long as you claim. :rolleyes:
