3. A scalper bought a huge portion of the tickets to resell. Apple does not let you transfer tickets. You must check-in at the registration desk with government issued ID (4th year attending).
To be fair, you can transfer WWDC tickets before they're activated. There are some on eBay right now. Otherwise, a company couldn't buy them for more than one employee.

Let me state that I agree with the people saying that it's doubtful that they will release a TV set, rather than releasing an improved ATV2. As, liked stated, it's a narrow Market, so many choices at lower prices etc. It'll be hard for Apple to compete, however;
Apple have revolutionised multiple product ranges I mean, look at the iPhone, iPods and iPads. they now lead the way - who says they wont do it in the TV Market?
I can't wait to see - may not buy one
- but I'm excited to see how well they do.

I did that but it still does not work. I rebooted my macbook, installed the latest security updates, wiped my 3GS, tried restoring and then updating to 4.3.2 - same thing just happened.

Highly suspicious of the first shot -- it appears that you can see the face of the white iPhone, but not the black. If the white is taller, it should be the other way around.
The second one you posted with the guide lines is much more convincing.

I don't really care what it looks like; just come up with a clean way of syncing iCal (home) with Outlook (work) without having to go through Google. It's a huge pain having to maintain two separate calendars!

Picked up a 32gb Transcend Class 10 SDHC for the hp mini. $50 is not bad for all that extra storage space.
Are the Transcends pretty good cards? I need to get some high capacity SD cards for some read only storage, and I've never had any experience with SDHC cards.

Before seeing this, I had more or less decided I would skip the next upgrade but I have to admit I love that design. Stick 64 gigs in it and I'll be at the top of the queue

I can tell you from first hand experience many of the knock off conversion kits have a slightly thicker battery door which causes issues with certain cases - mostly hard ones, like snap on back covers or sliders.
They simply don't fit. They're just a hair off due to the thicker door.
I've also seen some white doors which are fine and fit with all cases.
Not saying these pics aren't of the Apple iPhone 4 or not......

I think it's ugly. And after looking at it for a while I discovered why: There's no symmetry. Maybe it would look better if the non-glass areas on the top and bottom had the same height. Like all iDevices so far have.
Furtermore, I'm not too sure about the lack of a border around the screen. I think the screen needs to have a frame. Looks better, and your fingers won't be covering the screen when you hold it.
An optical home button that recognizes gestures sounds totally awesome, though.

Oh I forgot...yes...the "Specs" argument. My bad. AND the Closed vs. Open debate. Yes...that too. It's so open that I can't upgrade to the latest Android version, because it's not available for carrier XYZ. But that's not Android's fault, or the Phone's fault. You can root it though. That's awesome...root it, then download the newest launcher, then reset it, and do this, and do that. Then when that's all done, it's no better than it was when I started. But hey, my icons are Green! Cool...

I would have got the wireless keyboard/mouse set for my iMac if this was available at the time. Oh well. I'm considering switching to the Logitech Laser anyways. I get sick of the MM not recognizing right clicks.
Half of them do, half of them don't. Mine recognizes right clickes 70% or so of the time - my friend's, on the other hand, is almost perfect.
Either way, though, both of our scroll balls get stuck way too often - I agree with Doctor Q, that it would be nice to see an improvement in this area...

No 512GB SSD option. I would've gladly paid the premium for it (+$1200 instead of +$750), considering how much of a PITA it is to get at that (full logic board removal).
