Blooming: Stella McCartney looked immaculate in an off-white tailored coat with black leggings and ballet bumps and dark glasses on the school run in west London earlier today

She's one of the world's most successful fashion designers - so it should come as no surprise that Stella McCartney manages to look so stylish despite being heavily pregnant.

The fashionista - daughter of former Beatle Sir Paul McCartney - was seen stepping out near her west London home in an elegantly tailored cream crombie-style overcoat.

Stella, who is married to Alasdhair Willis, is expecting her fourth child any day now.

The couple already have two sons, Miller, five, and Beckett, two, and a three-year-old daughter, Bailey.

Meanwhile, Stella has made sure that the latest addition to her family will be as well dressed as mummy by launching her first childrenswear collection.

The line, which caters for 0-12-year-olds, features pea coats, stripey cashmere-blend knits and darling yellow wellies for splish-splashing around in puddles.

Yummy mummy: But Stella couldn't quite manage to do up her stylish coat over her fulsome bump with her baby due any day

Stella had previously created a one-off children's collection for Gap earlier this year.

And it's doubtful that Stella will be putting her feet up once she becomes a mother again for the fourth time.

Stella is also the 'creative director' for Great Britain's Olympic and Paralympic teams at the 2012 London Olympics, designing the athletes' 'performance' and 'village wear' and a retail range of clothing for spectators.

The 38-year-old has designed a sportswear range for Adidas, who have made the British Olympic team's clothing since 1984, for the past six years.
