All that shimmers: Kelly Brook (left) and Denise Richards both wore similar sparkly little black dresses to the Alice and Olivia by Stacey Bendet fashion show last nightArriving at a fashion show at New York Fashion Week last night, actresses Kelly Brook and Denise Richards were hoping to make a sexy impression with their choice of outfits.
But arriving on the red carpet of the Alice & Olivia by Stacey Bendet show, the two women had opted for remarkably similar little black dresses.
Brit model Kelly, 30, was showing off her curves in a fitted sparkly shift dress, while Hollywood star Denise, 39, was wearing the exact same cut style, but in black sequins.
While former Bond girl Denise had gone for gloss with pink lipstick and smoky eyes, Kelly appeared to have worn minimal make-up.
The two women were among a host of stars who turned out to see Alice & Olivia's new Spring/Summer 2011 collection at the Cedar Lake venue in the trendy Manhattan district of Chelsea.
The Alice & Olivia was the third fashion event Ms Brook has attended this week after also checking out the styles at the Preen show and the launch of a new Montblanc pen on Sunday.
Brook has spent a lot of time in the U.S. over the past few months trying to capitalise on the success of her latest movie Piranha 3D - in which she has a small role.
Natural look: Brook shunned her usual glossy appearance for minimal make-upShe also introduced herself to American males by posing naked for Playboy magazine, for which she was paid £320,000.
Following her split from rugby player Danny Cipriani in June, the Kent-born beauty now has a lot more time to spend in the States.
Meanwhile, mother-of-two Richards has been hitting most of New York's biggest shows during Fashion Week, including Betsey Johnson, Pamela Roland, Badgley Mischka, Belle Parish, Vivienne Tam and Dolce & Gabbana.
The pair were in good company last night with a host of stars clambering for a view of future fashions.

The 23-year-old actress, who leaped to fame on popular American show 7th Heaven, has been cast at Nate Archibald's (Chace Crawford) new love interest Juliet Sharp.
Other famous guests in attendance included Real Housewives Of New York star Kelly Bensimon, Olympian figure skater Sarah Hughes and Ralph Lauren's daughter Dylan
