What do you do for work and why?
I maintain servers and enterprise applications from an infrastructure perspective. I'm involved in upgrading two of those enterprise applications at once and I'm on a tight dead line :(

Have to agree with others about the vaguely disturbing elements to the avatar. I'm glad you developed the avatar, if only so that you brought this singer to my attention, but there IS something unnerving about that apple and her eye.....

I would recommend the Nikon 18-200mm VR. It has a great range and can do the work of two or three lenes. Its a little pricey but you may be able to find a good used deal somewhere.

hi,
I'm having trouble with vertical distance in GoLive.
eg: my home page.
I want to have a certain distance between various headings and sections of www.eclispenow.org but really can't seem to get the "box" tool working properly. Any ideas for guaranteeing vertical distance... without getting into html? (Html scares me at this stage.)

Nice noob response. :p Anyone who regularly listens to music uses playlists and rotates the music from their computer to their iPods. At any one time, no one is going to listen to their entire 20GB worth of music. They are more likely to use smart playlists and shuffle among them.
coming from someone who listens to music almost constantly, i have to disagree. i have a 20+ GB library and i make playlists based on the entire library. in other words they wouldn't fit on a nano. i like hearing a mix of my favorites along with new stuff.

Spamming can also be posting the exact same thing multiple times. Its been done on occassion. Farscape was the latest. Although not the worst by far.

Hello,
Soon, I will hopefully buy my first iMac. It's going to be the 21,5 inch based model. But reading the posts here on the forums makes me hesitate. Most of the threads are just about problems with the iMac. So I wanted to know what you really think of the iMac.
Remember: I'm not going to do extraordinary things with it: replacing hard drives, adding more RAM, or driving the software to it's limit, etc.
To do so I want you to give a score out of 1 to 10.
Please help out.

I'd understand the dilemma between a MBP and an Air, but and Air and an iMac????

From the chart, I'd say that this statement applies to people who owned a Kindle and got the iPad as a 2nd device. Or people who got the iPad and got the cheaper 3rd gen Kindle became available, etc.
I don't think Android tablets are common enough at this time for such a significant number of people already owning more than one.

It means you should be lining up now lol.
I think any apple store will be safe for launch day. Even if its a long line, I think they'll be good with large quantities for the weekend.
No way I'm spending the night out with this cold :P Plus I'm working. I'll be heading there tomorrow at 12:30. Yeah, I think t should be fine, although I only want the 16GB White.

I was stocking games today at work and I noticed a few games that are new release.
Wii:
Godfather
Cooking Mama
Blazing Angels
PS2 and PSP:
Test Drive Unlimited (YESSS!!!)
PS3:
Godfather
And a few other NDS games. Forgot what they were.
Anybody know about these titles specifically the Wii ported games?

Saw this video a few years ago and always thought it was fake and had nothing to do with Apple.

:) was it not also usable as a comp
uter , if i remember that right it had a logic board of macintosh's from that time with some alterations , but could be used for internet access and OS 8 would run on it , only not meant to be a macintosh , so i guess apple placed it in the wrong market ,instead of selling it as a games console they should have sold it as a macintosh able to be used as a games console could have been a hit :D

You can use a tethered JB on 4.3.1 on iPad, that's what I have and it works great with all my fav tweaks.... here is a link http://www.redmondpie.com/jailbreak-4.3.1-on-windows-iphone-4-3gs-ipad-1g-ipod-touch-using-sn0wbreeze-2.4-how-to-guide/
