Usually the picture of elegance and maturity, Eva Longoria showed her uncouth side last night as she spat out her chewing gum on TV.
The Desperate Housewives star was appearing on the Ellen DeGeneres show when she realised she'd forgotten to get rid of her gum.
Encouraged by her host, she spat the offending piece of confectionery into her hand before taking a tissue from Ellen to put it in.
Eva, 35, was appearing on the chat show to promote the new series of Desperate Housewives, which is now into its seventh season which started in the US three weeks ago and comes to the UK tomorrow night.
She also spoke to Ellen, 52, about her three-year-marriage to basketball star Tony Parker, who she said had accompanied her to the show.

They threw pink balls at a target and managed to dunk him on the very last shot.
That evening, the glamorous and ladylike Eva was back on form as she changed into a little black dress to appear on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.
Joined by Transformers star Josh Duhamel, 37, she spoke about the same things she had to Ellen but also revealed that she would be hosting the MTV European Music Awards in Madrid on November 7.
