Another huge update... Apple should test their updates better. These frequent updates are getting really annoying to me and my friends.

Is it confirmed these beauties have SATA III?
Exactly what I'm wondering. The new laptops have SATA III for the boot drive but II for the optical. I would hope these have III for the boot drive and optional SSD, it would be nice if they just went ahead and used it for the optical as well.
Now how about a mac pro update, now there are two cheaper lines with thunderbolt (and likely SATA III).

Wait, for something to have meaning it must have emotions attached to it ? Whatever happened to cold objective debate ?
Meaning is derived from the content, not from the emotions behind the statements. We're in a debate of facts, not in a subjective discussion. Emotionality has no place in the text.
That's not what I meant. You're trying to mix things up now. All you said was:
'Written text has no emotionality.'
You sounded as if it were a general statement or a fact which is absolutely false.
Or am I not understanding what you mean here ? My post was objective in that I was not refusing to view the evidence, I just found his evidence to be contradictory and self-refuting and thus not applicable. I stated it as such and further explained when told I was "refusing to see" something that just wasn't there to begin with.
There was nothing to "cool down".
The only reason why I said 'cool down' was because he did mention in his last post that his citation isn't consistent with any fact. And then you...
His statement was not an argument. It was as a fact. And the Engadget article is not a citation to support the fact since it has been refuted by CNET, according to the very source AppleCorps used initially, TechCrunch.
He did rest his argument down, but you didn't.
Cool down *.
*Conditions Apply.
- Only if you haven't already.
- Only if you were 'cooled' down in the first place.

No in bogo they BOTH make money. Verizon, Att, Tmobile and Sprint have already paid retail for the phone before customers recieve the contract price. Apple, Samsung, HTC etc have already made their money. Telcos now have to make their money over time with the contract.
So Bogo makes them money also.
There are no android devices of any kind that outsell the iPhone. Not even the cheap ones, not even the free ones. There are no phones at all that outsell the iPhone 4 worldwide. In the US they all also fall below the 3GS and the iPhone 4.

They show will be on as long as the ratings are up. Maybe Sheen gets killed off when he crashes his car next season and then their long lost brother enters.
Ha.... I mean he does have experience sending cars off a cliff!!!

What product will the T-Mobile chic bash now???
You know how fickle women can be, so does it really matter?!
Oops, just made somebody's hit list. Let me rephrase that...
As a woman, the T-Mobile "chic" has the right to change her mind! Thus probably will bash Android Fragmentation! :D

I find it funny that if this was a physical calendar on my desk, those "remnants of torn-off pages" added for additional realism would irritate me and I would pick them off to have a nice clean surface. However, as a digital representation, I like it better because they're there.

m lucky if I can make a call and if I can, half the time it's dropped. And nobody can hear me anyway. I rarely receive calls and the missed call and voice-mails notifications don't show up till I leave home. Had Verizon for years and I can't remember ever dropping a call anywhere. But I love my iPhone and never did like Verizon.

I like it,
its a calendar, it looks like what it does, with MobileMe its the exact same calendar as the one on my iPhone and iPad, now it looks the same
love the continuity in the calendars! if windows look different from each other it's a good thing, because they all do different things.

The answer here seems so obvious, how did Apple miss it?
Bring over some of the nice eye candy features from the iPad, like animated calendar pages, but leave the clean professional look alone. I hate using Outlook for calendars and now iCal looks ridiculous and wastes more space than anyone could imagine...what's a man to do?

To US its a big deal. It's a blow to the Al-Qaeda that doesn't exist anymore. The current one will still function just as it has for nearly a decade in its cell based way. If anything this will just piss off extremists. Don't think for a second some type of retaliation (most likely attacks in the Middle East) won't come about from this.
are you suggesting we give him a pass?

In general, the staff at most retail and restaurant chains are taught to notify the authorities and not get involved. Violating this policy can and will get you fired at best, or killed at worst.
And at what point in American society did helping a fellow human being in distress become less important that making 5 bucks an hour slinging burgers.
Seriously, if McD's fires you for doing the right thing I'm sure there is a BK nearby you can apply at.
IMHO the bystanders in this situation are just as guilty. Maybe Seinfield was onto something all those years ago.

This is Hollywood we're talking about here. Sheen is hardly through. Look at Robert Downey Jr and Lindsay Lohan. They don't operate in the real world out there.
Both of them seem to at least be trying to get better. Sheen seems to be embracing his madness and going deeper into it. He's not sorry for anything he's done and seems to be actually proud of it. That doesn't spell "comeback" to me. That spells "checkout". As in, he ain't gonna be with us much longer.

Not to be nit-picky, but "death grip" was "Antennagate" -- what's the "etc" part you mean? It's like you wanted to create a list of Apple problems, so you mentioned the one biggee TWO DIFFERNT WAYS and then stuck on "etc" to make is seem like oddles and oddles of problems ... Like we wouldn't notice! Ha! :D didn't fool me!

Once again the drones at Microsoft can't come up with anything new so they spend all their money trying to muscle in on something someone else had the vision to create. I hope they fail big time.
By the time M$ get any sort of marketshare Apple will be onto something new and innovative that that Big Bill will have to throw even more $$$ down the drain to catch up.
Jobs must be laughing his A*** off, he's forced M$ to create something that's going to lose them money, whilst Apple turns a tidy profit on each iPod sold!

Are you guys for real?
I'm not really into apple or apple products, but there is no big mystery behind the string ix.Mac.MarketingName (except for 'Mac', that is)
'ix' is and object or a variable in whatever programming language they've written this in.
'Mac' and 'MarketingName' are either methods or keys (in a hash) belonging to the 'ix' variable/object.
Let me illustrate with a simple javascript/JSON variable:
var ix = {

As much as I wish it would happen, I doubt Apple has fully internalized that the glossy glass screens were a horrendous design decision. I bet is it'll be two more years until they will be forever phased out, along with the enormous black bezels on the majority of products. But Apple is typically slow in realizing their mistakes, no surprise given their successes.
Point well taken. You're probably right but i'm still hoping that they at least cut down that huge bezel. Also I would hope that they make that SSD standard.
