Multiprocessor support is way way cool. That could make me throw away my work machine and just keep working with my Mac Pro :-)
Well... another thing that stops me from working with virtual machines is the lack of support for multi-monitor setups... I can't return to developing software with just one... so let's hope VMWare addresses this sometime, hopefully soon. I would really love to have my Mac with 3 monitors instead of my Pc with 2 and my mac with one... :-)
Now I'm just waiting to get my invitation email... if it happens... :rolleyes:

No thanks I allready built myself a HTPC which will be better than anything Apple do unless they add OS X into a tv. Even then Id still prefer my HTPC because it runs Windows 7.

I made my very first print sale today. When I started taking pictures for my 365 project, I never expected it result in selling any pictures, but I guess you can never tell where things will go. Here's the picture that I sold. I took it a couple of weeks ago at the Georgia Tech auto show. The purchaser is a huge fan of Hudson automobiles, and he bought a print to give to the owner. He said he used to develop and print his own black and white film shots some time back, too.

I don't really think the kid is rolling with a credit card of his own at 11 years of age. So maybe the mother should think about setting up a iTunes account for her son with a apple gift card or pre-pay visa. That way he can't run wild like Hulkamania with her credit card.... I wish my parents would of let me have free access to there visa as a kid :rolleyes:

Finally, still confused as to why there is no 7200RPM drive option for the 15".
I wanna order with a glossy screen but i'm scared i wont be able to return this if it has probless. Isnt glossy screen a BTO option?
ANY change from the default spec is BTO (or CTO). The tech specs pages says:
"15.4-inch (diagonal) TFT display, support for millions of colors; optional glossy widescreen display"
Sounds like glossy is BTO to me.

i got my hendgedock last week. When you set it up, put the hendgedock on it's side, and run the wires through the dock, and plug them into the MBP. Then set the hendgedock upright with the MBP in it and tighten the screws for the various plug ins.
I wasted a good 20 min trying to follow the instructions.
It's a nice little gadget, I just wish they made it out of aluminum to match everything else.

That native partion support to use virtualization or dual booting would be awesome, having the best of both worlds (Boot Camp & Virtualization). I look forward to it!

It use SOOOOOOO little amount of memory compare to Parallels (4xxMB vs 2.xxGB), so there is better system performance. I cannot wait to test it on my Macbook but the different on my Mac Pro was HUGE!!
I agree. VMware is already very good for a private beta (don't ask me how I got it ;)). Very fast already, and the app itself starts up about 5x faster than Parallels. And it uses a Cocoa native interface yay!

Amazon also expanded their $5 album selection to about a thousand instead of the usual hundred. But I think that is just for this week.
My only beef with their mp3s is the category chosen in the mp3 tags. I bought some Christmas music that was tagged as miscellaneous not Christmas... That is annoying.

Wisely my other half suggested at $75 limit for Christmas. :) Forces us to listen to each other and think more about what might be a surprise, and a thoughtful gift. This is our first Christmas together.
So it has been fun in teasing with things that we have been finding. Though I get a pass since it is also their birthday month I think. LOL
